Quilt

Lt. Michael W. Pigott, the man who gave the order to taser a mentally ill man who fell to his death, was found dead in a Police locker room after committing suicide. Lt. Michael W. Pigott was a 21 year veteran of the police force and was put on an assignment with out a badge or gun after the incident occurred. He left behind and wife, two sons, and a daughter. This is absolutely rediculous on both sides. First of all why would someone kill themselves over something little like this? I know it may not have been little to him, but still. Also for the police to taser someone who is mentally impaired! What is wrong with some people these days!

Wow this sounds really crazy. I never heard of this story. It was shocking to know that anyone would even taser a mentally ill person. Isn't that common sense not to?.. even for a police officer. It just sounds crazy. Then him killing himself...wow.
